Poetry Reading at SB Public Library
Hybrid Meeting of Trustees to Feature Ed Belding and Yours Truly
I’ll be reading tonight during the regular South Brunswick Historical Society meeting with Ed Belding. I’ll read some newer work and a few poems from my various collections, and we likely will discuss the state of journalism.
The event is hybrid — live and via Zoom. You can register here.
April is National Poetry Month. Join us as we talk to local journalist and poet Hank Kalet and Ed Belding. Belding is the Town Historian and a poet who concentrates on poetry with a local focus.
Hank Kalet is an award-winning journalist and poet whose work has appeared in numerous online and small-press journals. Kalet was the longtime reporter and editor for the South Brunswick Post. We'll also discuss how journalism and news has changed in the last decade.
Ed Belding is the South Brunswick Historian who writes poetry and South Brunswick historical fiction. He will be highlighting poems from his new publication called Seventeen Places. Ed has written a historical poem for for each of the 17 South Brunswick historical houses in this collection.
