We’ve all heard the cliche: A picture is worth a thousand words. And most of us would agree that it still holds true. So, rather than offer a long essay or political op-ed, I’m offering three photos that represent where my head is in this dangerous moment.
These are the books I’m currently working through. Several are rereads — the Duncan poetry, Barrett’s treatise on existential philosophy, Shaul Magid’s take on exile (as part of a Jewish reading group at Rutgers that has been illuminating and challenging).
